International Police Association - is the most influential non-governmental organization that advises the Social and Economic Council of the United Nations and the Council of Europe. The members of this association are civil servants and police officers , who is employed, or retired. You can join it regardless of the place of service , position, nationality , language, communication, professed religion. This organization is independent of the trade union and political bodies , is not part of any organization or group .
The International Police Association already exists for more than sixty years. It was founded January 1, 1950 At this time, it was known as the British section of the International Police Association . It was founded by Arthur Troup , British police Sgt . Due to the fact that he spent working with colleagues from other European countries such as Denmark , Finland , Sweden , the police officers around the world have begun to share their experiences, information and skills. To date, members of the association are the 65 countries of the world.
The purpose of this organization was a joint decision of such problems :
